1. Properties of Triangles
- Angle Sum Property: The sum of interior angles of a triangle is always 180°.
- Exterior Angle Property: An exterior angle is equal to the sum of the two opposite interior angles.
2. Congruence of Triangles
Two triangles are congruent if they are identical in shape and size.
- Rules: SAS, ASA, SSS, AAS, RHS.
- CPCT: Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are equal.
3. Similarity of Triangles
Two triangles are similar if their corresponding angles are equal and sides are proportional.
4. Inequalities in a Triangle
- Side opposite to a larger angle is longer.
- The sum of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the third side.
